MEET ALEX

My lived experience informs my eclectic approach to therapy.

After recovering from an eating disorder and alchemizing a lot of my internal suffering, I saw firsthand that healing is possible. I have dedicated my practice to developing a comprehensive framework for individuals to heal and elevate their connections with themselves, others, and the world around them.

“Alex is amazing at creating a non-judgemental environment. Working alongside the same group of individuals; even though we are all on our own journey, it's nice to have that common humanity. I felt very held and seen and supported to take more steps in my healing journey.”

MY AREAS OF FOCUS

As a Registered Clinical Counselor, I take a holistic approach to mental health.

I employ a range of traditional therapeutic techniques such as AEDP, Satir family systems, Parts work, Solution-focused therapy, Compassion therapy; as well as guided meditation and mindfulness practices. My areas of focus include (but are not limited to) the following:

01 – EATING DISORDERS

I am dedicated to helping individuals struggling with eating and body image issues find freedom and healing.

02 – RELATIONSHIPS

I support clients in elevating their relationship with themselves and others through attachment theory, conscious relating practices and more.

03 - TRAUMA

I am passionate about helping clients reclaim safety in their bodies, and create a more balanced and easeful internal and external world following trauma of all kinds.

“Having a space every week that so lovingly said: “yes, it’s ok to tend to your feelings” and “yes, you’re doing amazing work” and “no, don’t stop showing up for yourself” was absolutely invaluable.”
